akon - bananza (belly dancer)so this week was spent doing a whole lot of nscs stuff again. wednesday was the induction and me and this girl (i forget her name) were responsible for check-in, t-shirts, and collecting katrina/rita donations.
oh and please take a dvd from the fau footbll team! hahaha ... before it started anne had asked me to pick up more certficates that were still being printed out in jenn's DIS lab in the science & engineering building - read
THE OTHERSIDE OF CAMPUS! so my retarded ass thought it would be quicker to WALK than to get to my car and drive around. i took isabel's umbrella and walked there only to find out that this tiny printer was printing ONE certficated every FIVE MINUTES. so i grabbed what was done (just 15!) and headed back coz the ceremony was about to start. my feet were hurting so bad & when i got home, i had these two ugly ass bubble blisters! hahaha ... yuck.
then saturday we met up in boynton for our habitat for humanity thing. we were building two houses and this was my first experience. overall, it was very, very cool. i spent most of the time hammering down a roof! bob-the-builder-status with yellow hard had and everything! climbing the ladder to get to the roof then having to walk on and balance myself on the beams was scary at first but then it got easier. soon enough, we were all standing there even in the wind(!) having a good time. the guy john even taught me how to use the power saw! i was sawing off a piece of plywood right to the end of the roof! haha ... that part was scary & it was hot so of course im like a million times darker! haha ... but yeah it was fun. now im looking forward to our NSCS DODGEBALL TOURNEY! haha ... some more football games (even if we do have a sorry ass team) ... and all that other good stuff!!
hella pictures. hella good times.
its been a good weekend, coming home to read up on how sheila & lisa is doing, seeing rems and jenna back up frequenting the comments, then having a nice long catch-up convo with ives & our plans to meet up in orlando next month for
HALLOWEEN HORROR NIGHTS especially after a hard week at work ... my kids have been EXTRA BAD at work this week ... i just really got sick of it. sometime i really need a break from them. this week was one of them.
ryan and i are doing well. we're both so busy that by the time we get to talk during our nightly phone calls, we're just so exhausted! he's playing basketball for their league ... OF COURSE HE MADE THE TEAM! haha ... i really miss watching his games. hopefully a reunion before december will work out. september is over and it already feels like the next couple of weeks are going to go by fast too. im looking forward to getting back to studying for 2nd round exams this week. theres no school&work on tuesday coz of the jewish holiday so im gonna study for genetics & then check out tatu's youth group in west palm beach.
God has blessed us with a new month of so much to look forward to!
LETS DANCE!love you and miss you all!!
