so lately, ive been trying to use as much spanish in anything and everything i say at home. we're conviced that even scooter can learn to recognize some words ... AGUA SCOOTER? AGUA?! haha ... i was inspired by joy and her HONORS-SPANiSH-STATUS! and oh yeah ... learning how to dance like shakira is so on my list of things to do before i turn 30! haha ...
hey its great seeing you back ives! my 1st six weeks just ended as well so i totally understand how fast and busy times can be. a three day breather and im back to another quick semester though. maaaaaaaan. im still so determined to get my family up north before you go back to tally ... looking forward to future fuuuun times drives me! =) oh yeah and i do watch grey's anatomy!! the finale pissed me off with that doctor dude's WiFE coming back into the picture. haha ... yeah i reacted like i knew them and i was being directly affected. (such a dork) haha ... but my favorite part is that they always have TEGAN & SARA songs on them. anyways ... sounds like everything is awesome! im glad that it is chick! ive missed you!
some days, my faith in people can be devastated. its just difficult of course when every day you turn on the news and listen to another amber alert being issued. ive been really, REALLY emotional lately over shit like that. its a reality that there are a lot of sick people in the world ... i cry easily when i think of or hear about another child being hurt or alone or suffering. even when there's a happy ending like BRENNAN HAWKINS's story i can get pretty sensitive and im bawling by the end of the segment - but then again, who doesnt? MAAAAAAAAAN. i guess i just really miss my work a lot. and im convinced that i was destined to pursue a life dedicated to kids. i cant tell you how awesome it is to be driven by a such a rewarding cause.
but it is nice having afternoons off. i get to watch GENERAL HOSPiTAL and OPRAH! haha ... cometothinkofit, ive been watching that shit since i lived in atsugi (japan)! that was like a million years ago (haha 13+ years ago) ... i love GH ... i love oprah. shes so nice. i would love to have my faith in people restored to the same levels as her own - limitless. wow, i like that word ...
& that is what i want to be.
so its come to the end of another set of rambling on ... theres nothing else i can think of writing beside more drama in my life. but itll only upset me and probably depress you. there are bigger, more real things to be actively concerned over. lets change the world =)

hey i didnt even get to do the whole "so-the-semester's-winding-down" shit. everything came and went by sooOOooOo fast yeah? summer started a while back and i am already taking MiDTERMS!! lets see ... how i would impress you these days: i could name all 206 bones (give or take a few) in the damn human body. woopee. thats how exciting my life is right now. hahaha ... actually, being the dork that i am, i find it exceptionally fun *haha* since all the technical junk coincides with stuff from our recently purchased copy of the entire first season of Scrubs that i am currently addicted to watching. *cheese*
my dad surprised me with a new car a couple of weeks ago. he was picking me up from work and was like, hey marj, you wanna drive? and i didnt feel like it. but then he hands me a DiFFERENT set of keys and im confused as hell. then i turn around and this beautiful new SCiON tC is sitting out in front staring at me. it was a perfect moment ... haha ... to get all corny on you ... it was all there in the sunshine and shade and ... ahhh ... it was just beautiful. michelle and pamela had come out to watch the surprise too. it was GREAT. i loooOOooOoOoove it!!!!
my kids are out of school, which means im on a break from work till august ... i AM SOOOooOOoO GONNA LOVE MY WORK SCHEDULE ONCE iM A FULL-TiME TEACHER. who else gets weekends off and 3 1/2 months of paid summer vacation?! the last few days at work were fuuun. our yogurt party was AWESOME! i totally miss my kids already but michelle and i are moving up to 1st grade with them so everthing will continue to be awesome come this fall!!
san diego was a blast. ill be back soon (TJ here i come with my stolen merchandise! hahaha)
but now the break's over and its back to business. with the classes im taking now, it doesnt seem like i could take on even a part-part time job! but i was telling ryan ... i need money ... i have too many habits that need supporting, haha. LADiES, DO YA FEEL ME?!
we drove out to ft. myers and naples during memorial day weekend. it was nice out there ... kinda like palm beach, except hella less people and VERY, very clean. we just galavanted around ... people go there to drive by all the huge estate houses. i was hoping to catch a glimpse of a celebrity but no luck. a nice place but boring. the marriott we stayed at was cool. we had a fireplace in mine, joy, and cj's room. haha ... next time im bringing a volleyball: iTS BEEN FOREVER SiNCE iVE PLAYED!! on the way home, we went to miromar outlets and of course i couldnt leave coach without something pretty. then i had some rotten ice cream. the most rotten ice cream ive ever had. ever. haha ... yuck.
traveling around lake okeechobee is a bitch ... i dont like long driving too much. but we did make a alot of random stops, just to see what everyone else was stopping for. we got some really great views of the everglades, tons of rivers/canals, and a really pretty park. its cool driving around without too much of a plan. just as long as im not the driver =)
i cant wait for the coming months. my parents and their spur-of-the-moment getaway decisions are always interesting - im praying for the keys and/or tampa again!! we'll be in orlando for a family reunion. and then ill reunite with the ives of my life! hahaha ... and then the next set of summer classes. then all kinds of application results. then fall and work again. AND THEN planning my way out to chicago to meet the newly graduated boyfriend =) ... he has a couple of passes that need to be utilized
so here i am. enjoying my lazy-half-days of summer. ive gotten back in touch with a couple of old broward county homies. itll definitely be fun catching up and going out again - summer movies! i wanna see madagascar!!!!!!!!! hahaha oh and i got sucked into the myspace world: damn that shits addicting! hahaha ... yes, we've already established that im a dork. but it helps keep up with hella people - yay for being semi-back "in the loop"! hahaha ...
alright ... so im gonna go make some RANCH ROASTED POTATOES! forreal shay, youd be proud of how good i can cook now!! hahaha ... we're having a bbq and im hoooooooongry! hahahaha ...
oh and to my MIA GIRLS: whats the deal homies?! why has everyone disappeared?! life is grand. be out there celebrating but dont forget to call your damn friends! hahaha ... & how are all my babies?!?!?!?!?!?! (much lovelovelove to ayden, nadia, chloe, and claire, & my newest nephew-in-law caleb!!) seriously guys. i miss you hoes.
