so i went to school for 3 hours this afternoon to take my final for history. i neurotically studied all week for it and crammed till 2am this morning. i hate cramming coz it means that i don't get to talk to ryan. but he called to fit in a hello for the day ... hearing his voice always helps me relax. he is amazing. but yeah, i felt so damn good about the test, especially the essay portion, afterward ... i can't wait until the results. coz im that type of person.

so i ran to sell my books back. they bought one back but they couldn't take the other. it seems to always happen to me: they can't buy it back coz they're getting new editions. so i drove to BookSmart and they bought it back for $1 haha ...

but otherwise, im just super NOT-stressed again! yay! i have two more finals for geology and lab that i have my entire 3-day weekend in orlando to study for. got my books for Summer B (which starts wednesday) and on the way home, ZETA was playing awesome songs and the BUZZ was having a special show on The Cure and the upcoming Curiosa Fest ... it kicks off in my freaking backyard! lol ... the amphitheater down the road. just for kicks - here, here, and here. the good music put me in a good mood during the drive home. that plus when i got home, i saw my car was back!! (it was in the shop for like a week coz of the transmission and i've been using the pathfinder) it feels nice to have my car back, i don know why, lol?! so for now im just taking things easy - reading that Sparks' book was taking me forever to finish so i also started on Siddhartha, and getting around to emailing again. by the way, its awesome to hear from you again, jenna and rems!

i was looking at a survey that lori posted on friendster. it asked you to recall crushes from earlier grades. i was cracking up thinking about it ... turns out that ever since 1st grade, i tended to like one person for looong periods of time, so like in actuality ive only had a crush on 2 people my entire life, lol. (not including actors/singers/athletes, of course).

ryan made fun of me for this conversation last week:
marj: my car is jacked up.
ryan: why?
marj: oh not, jacked up. its just that it can't go forward or reverse.
ryan: *laughing at me*
marj: what?
ryan: you're car's not jacked up but it can't go forward or reverse?
marj: yeah! ... haha ...
i didn't even mean to sound clueless. i just meant that the engine was fine, haha

how come no one told me along came polly was worth watching? it was better than i expected it to be. it was quite funny actually (sharted) and im thinking of getting it coz my favorite was when he was learning how to salsa. oh and

alright well, ive babbled on for about as much as we all could stand. hello to the masses! & to the sexiest junior national volleyball team of guam: hope you're having all the fuuuuuuuun that you better be having!(?) haha ... blogging because im on this writing rampage, lol. this and next week is finals and ive been studying/writing my eyeballs out. i guess im here to filter out all the non-sense. it feels like i haven't slept in 4 days and will never be able to get down from here. ahhh ... summers spent at school. what have i gotten myself into?!

but for the while ... ryan cracked me up so bad today. he used the word "shammy." i remember learning that word at a carwash sophomore or junior year and was freaking out coz it sounded funny. plus everyone knew that word already and i was just all, omg, if i hadn't learned that word today, i woulda gone my entire life not knowing it! haha ... you know how some words just sound funny no matter who says not matter how many times it's said? thats one of them for me, lol.

i fell sleep a couple of times in class today. i swear though, every time i was waking up, he'd just be finishing a sentence with "... and that would be a good thing to know for the final ..." haha ... i thought i'd fall asleep on the drive home but it was too hot in the car for any kind of comfort (luckily).


this Gameboy Advance SP Retro version kicks everyone else's gameboy's ass!!! hahahaha! nintendo ... hooooooweeeeee ... raise your hands if you used to play Duck Hunt with the gun held up right in front of the screen! haha ... that's gangsta. or if you used to blow into your games to make them work better! haha, hell, i still do!! oh or if you used to run the hell out of the POWER-PAD! those guy's mario & luigi costumes that they made on the real world - simply genius. cracked me up for hours. old school classics man ... classics. they are the best.

everything else has been pretty solemn. you know with reagans death and the d-day anniversary and all. everytime i watch a televised funeral, i always cry. fortunately i haven't had to experience too many funerals or deaths of people ive known but the memories of the few exceptions are haunting and still manages to hit the heart, you know? reagan was the president when i was born. it may seem all self-absorbed to think of yourself at times of tragedy but its personal connections that you can make with current events that tie you into what is going on. it helps me at least, to better understand and connect to the world we live in. and an experience that will open your mind, no matter what means, is an experience worth having.

& moving on: i feel better. calm. breathing again. back to the books ... i love you and miss you guys. hope you're all making the best of your summers.

one time, i was watching a Minnesota game and writing a paper on Manifest Destiny at the same time and when i proofread, i had written out "Destinesota" in my title. haha ... oh but now that they're out, basketball is gonna be sadder to watch.

i can't stand it when the mouse acts all junked up. you know, like when you move it, but the cursor on the screen doesn't move with it. i have this habit of cleaning out the mouse on other people's computers and at school.

i went on Blackboard after school and saw my new classes all up and ready to go. omg, it didn't hit me until today that i only have 4 more classes left this semester. time is fly fly flllllllllyyyyyying.
