Im having a good time this semester coz everything im taking is really different.
earth evolution is cool. my TA for the lab is awesome. we have 7 people in the lab (prolly coz its the early morning lab - the other one is in the afternoon). The lecture class itself is alright. I’d initially enrolled in theater but dropped it coz it wasn’t what I expected I guess? I wanted it to be something like drama class in high school … i was looking for something more hands-on and active guess? so I dropped it and took music (we have to take appreciation classes = BS up the A-HOLE) … but im having a blast there. My classmates are really cool. History is awesome. My professor is a Simpsons fanatic. So he incorporates a simposons episode (which we get to watch!) in his lectures. the only downside to summer is that everything is 3 freaking hours long!!! but the upside? im gonna be a junior by december! holy shhhiiiiiiiiiit.
i thought id be able to get by without having to buy books this semester. haha ...
its a good life when you have fridays off.
but the great thing about the week was the basketball. the Thursday and Friday games were just incredible. the Lakers/spurs: Duncan's fade away shot left the spurs up one and i thought that was it. then Derek fisher makes that beautiful miracle shot ... the house was crazy loud at 12am Thursday night. i was pissed off coz i knew CJ single-handedly jinxed the spurs. im still pissed off. haha ... then Friday night was triple over time with the pistons and nets. i havent kept up with this series coz the games arent even close. but i watched this game for some reason and it was well worth it. =) couldn't have asked for a better playoff game yeah? i love double headers.
saw TROY on friday. i still had to get carded coz they didnt think i was actually 17. haha ... it was the best movie ive seen in a long time. a tragedy - all the people you didnt want to die did, and over all sad. but it was good ... the fight scene between hector and achilles had my heart racing. and omg, is brad pitt not the hottest ever? the first time i thought he was hot actually. haha ... have you seen it yet? i swear achilles was trying to run a volleyball approach in the opening fight scene. haha ... nevermind. you'd laugh if you were with me!
this old guy got up to use the rest room in the middle of the movie. it must have taken him 5 minutes to get out of his seat with his walker. then when he came back, joy said he forgot where he was sitting coz it took him another 5 minutes to walk down the aisle, then he just stood there trying to look around in the dark. i know its wrong to crack on the old folks but theyre just so damn funny.
ok im off to the pool! woohoo for hot weather! love you, miss you all!

So I watched the last FRIENDS episode thursday night. When it ended, I just felt … good! It was a nice ending – that’s all im gonna say coz I know it hasn’t shown in Guam yet so I wont spoil anything (although if you tried hard enough, you could figure it out) and sheila might get mad at me! I’m all sad though, coz I really will miss it. We used to model our future plans on that show dammit! =) but I’m proud of myself – I was this close to calling you guys up on the west coast and spilling it all! Haha … (Oh man, theres a guitar part that plays when they’re at the airport … WHAT SONG IS THAT?! It’s bugging the shiznit outta me!) but yeah, im glad it ended the way it did, all subtly, all … peaceful.

i had a nightmare that britney spears was chasing me through a mansion that was all white - white walls, white floor, white furniture - and it was bright as hell coz of these super huge windows i couldnt break. & she was all trying to kill me. she had a knife in her hand and her hands were all bloody. & everytime was playing in the background. haha ... why the fuck was i running?!
