[ HELLOMOTO ] southern florida is lovely. climate-wise, the weather's the same as guam ... we're in the rainy season right now. i live in west palm beach to be exact. yeah, it feels cool being able to say that. two weeks here and i know my way around pretty well. im just not driving yet because i brake retarded with the pathfinder. its dangerous.
[ LACUNA ] moving in has been hectic. me and cj flew in from chicago by ourselves coz the airlines screwed up our tickets. joy and my mom were left behind and the very next day our household came in. damn, i havent seen our stuff since february. so it was fast unpacking - especially when i didnt have a bedroom set anymore. we've bought new furniture for my room which has an awesome lakeview but since we've moved in, ive slept in joy's room ... because she has a tv. like most communities here, ours is a gated comminuty with guards at the front and crap. its called LACUNA GOLF AND COUNTRY CLUB ... and our neighborhood is called THE GREENS. i think my dad jumped at the opportunity to live on a golf course so bad he didnt bother to look at the rest ... but its still definitely an upgrade from ghetto andersen, huh chado?! so theres a whole bunch of lakes in our place, one in the backyard in fact. we fish there a lot. i never realized how cool it is. the only problem is that the neighborhood is a major "retirement" place ... karlo visted a few days ago and spent a day chillin here. we checked out the club house, gym, and pool ... and it turned out that everyone else was friggin white and old! haha ... so we're planning on moving again in two years.
[ EVERYTHiNG ELSE ] as for everything else, its hard keeping up a social life when you don't know anyone. i think im gonna become antisocial for a while ... haha ... at least until school starts i guess? speaking of which, there are a lot of campuses nearby. i dont know which school to go to now due to the fact that Nova is unfortunately nowhere near home. visited Palm Beach Community College ... i was already accepted there but thats another "iffy" ... hmmm ... theres so much to see and buy here! haha ... but shopping isnt as fun when, again, you dont know anyone. geeze i miss you guys =( the crying every night has gone down to once a week ... i really really really miss it on guam!

[ *TEARS* ] thanks guys ... that was soooooo cool. i can't believe thats been the secret for the past month rem! geeze i had no idea ... my whole family was in on it too ... geeze with so many people planning stuff out, im surprised i didn't find out before the actual thing. maaaaan. i was holding back the tears ... seriously! ... coz it was cool to finally have everyone together. plus i was super hungry! the food was so yuuummmy! ryan almost told the secret! haha ... what a loser. you guys are the sweetest! you don't know how much i love you for everything!
[ CURRENTLY ] so here's what's been up. sunday was spent cleaning up the house, getting stuff ready for the movers. nothing too exciting ... just had to make sure i had all i needed. monday the movers came to pick up the express shipment. they only took about 2 hours to pack up the rest of my life and that night i took joy and cj out to see Finding Nemo (which by the way is my new favorite!) so cj could meet up with jenna's little brother for prolly the last time. we all went to fuji afterwards ... got full and slept one last time in our house on andersen. its about 2:45 in the afternoon (monday) and we just checked into the hotel. there's still so much to do ... drop off the car so it could get shipped ... as soon as it hits florida, that sucker is mine for good (again. hah.) ... pick up school transcripts, records, etc. ... pick up plane tickets ... get money from Navy Fed at Big Navy ... this morning was even more hectic. we had to get up around 7 to drop off some blankets and pillows, sheets, tableware, food and whatnot that we weren't going to bring with us to my cousins in mangilao ... all of our luggage was packed and put aside in the empty house coz the housing inspectors came to check out the house at 8:30 ... a stop at Prestige Auto so the car could get an emission control test or something(?) ... last minute stops at the post office ... closed our accounts at Bank of Guam ... paid the long distance telephone bills at iT&E in harmon ... spent forever in tumon trying to find Tour of Duty ... picked up the rental car (that came with the hotel room) at thrifty ... then i drove the car to andersen while my mom took the other ... picked up the kids and the luggage at home and finally checked in at the Westin. The room is 1409. ill be sure to call everyone up later for swimming and b-s-ing later/tomorrow. man im friggin tired just talking about it!

Thursday, June 5th is my last day.
The flight leaves at 6:30 so we'll be at the airport around 4:00-4:30. knowing my mom, we'll probably get checked in and get to gate as fast as possible. if you wanna be there for last hugs and kisses (which i hope you all do! *winks*) be there! =)
The route goes as follows:
guam to narita. 7 hour layover in japan.
switch planes. narita to LA.
switch planes. LA to San Diego.
1 week in San Diego.
June 12 San Diego to O'Hare. 2 or 3(?) hour layover in Chicago.
chicago to Ft. Lauderdale.
30 minutes to the new house.

[ BYE BYE SiLLYWORDS? ] as for the fate of this site. i dont want to close it down at all ... if anything, i think we need this site dont you? not just for us, the people who blog here ... but also for those, close to us, that like to keep up with our lives. as soon as we get established in florida, sometime before everyone's first semesters start, i'm gonna have the place ready and set up for newcombers (ives, kev, ryan, TEAM KDP ... everyone!) ... it will most likely be at a new address ... we'll let you know the details ... i'm not planning on not blogging here ever again ... i just won't have access to a computer for blogging as often for a while. in the meantime, i encourage everyone to still blog, visit, whatever.
[ ONE LAST 'SEE YOU LATER' ]i hate the fact that im leaving guam ... im leaving all of you beautiful, wonderful people. but im really excited about seeing whats next. im really excited about school and being that much closer to making dreams comes true. don't get me wrong ... im definitely gonna be bawling at the airport. im already starting to cry now ... i love you guys so much. God had a reason for sending me and my family to Guam and it's so i could have the joy of meeting and loving all of you. its because of that I am so thankful for everything thats happened to me here - i've grown to love this place. i've grown to love you. we all will be going our seperate ways ... whether its sooner or later. we can't dwell on the sadness of it ... we look back at each other and appreciate each other for the impacts we've left in each other's lives. in little and big ways, you've made those impacts on mine. whether or not we lose touch, i will carry the memories with me for the rest of my life ... thank you for everything you've made me.
if you believe strongly enough like i do, there will always be a 'see you later' ... don't be sad guys! Lookout for it ...i just want to take this time to officially extend this invitation to all of you (you know who you are! 2003 rocks!) to my house ... FLORiDA - THE HOTTSPOT ... for Spring Break 2004! it's on baybeh! ... MARJ& RYANS's WEDDiNG (2010? - after school's done) ... & all the other weddings ... all the baby christenings ... all the reunions on the westcoast ... all the reunions on the east coast ... all the (college) graduation parties ... guys, im telling you. its cheap to fly within the US ... you just gotta plan it during the off seasons.
i am so proud of how far all of you have come! seeing the tapes of grad over and over again makes me cry seeing you pick up your diplomas. these 4 years have been a blst. i can't wait to see what you all become because i am so confident in you all and your futures. go to school. do good in school. hard work man ... thats like my motto for life! you deserve so much! don't let anyone bring you down. thats enough of my preaching. have fun this summer! smile ... coz it's contagious!
