[ WORDS OF WiSDOM ] senior-itis is old. i'm pretty much past it all. i love & hate how the year is ending in about 15 days (2003). teachers are assigning projects and tests out their asses but it's not getting to me like it used to. i'm glad i didn't cram my 4th quarter with extraneous extracurriculars. my range-of-skils, and supplementary activities adds up to be a pretty good list for the colleges. really, if i had to leave any kinds of words of wisdom behind (if i'm even any kind of person to be regarded as giving out good wisdom), it would be that: grades aren't everything. do stuff. don't complain. GET YOUR ASS iN-FUCkiNG-VOLVED. clubs, sports, organizations require you to keep up your grades. that way you're not falling behind. you have something to work for - something worthwhile. get your work done but have fun in the process. and there's an activity bus to bring you home. just think about it. on a funnier note: our entire boy's soccer team was arrested the other day while away at their tournament in Japan. Something about BB-guns at the playground? good job guys. -- clarification - have fun but also have common sense.

[ STANLEY YELNATS ] i took cj to the movies the other night because we didnt have any plans for the night. joy was out. we were home. because we're losers like that. i was about to not go coz of milligan's paper. then i felt bad for my little brother. we saw Holes and to my surprise, it was really-weirdly-friggin-good ... k i may be exaggerating a little but i like movies where things link together in the end ... figuring out the story like 5 minutes before the end makes me feel so psychic-delic-like. but yeah. its my new favorite movie of the moment. but when i got to school there was no one to talk to about it with coz everyone saw Identity ... maaaaan! i was freaking out coz the whole time i was like "ZERO TOTALLY LOOKS LiKE KENEA!" ... aaaaahhhh ... haha ... k yeah. no one knows anymore. dammit. go see it. go read the book. do whatever. blah.

so ive had a new computer for a few days?/weeks? now ... im just really lazy to blog. there's a lot of catching up to do, and personally, i'd rather do things in person yannoe? so now im online only to download songs because i have the awesomest burner in the whole fuckin world!

updates: Lent has come and gone ... for many of us, its back to the Pepsi's, sex ... err ... uhm ... candy, and cussing ... yeaahbuuuuuddddyyy! haha ... my dad calls everyday three times day. i feel really bad. he sounds so lonely out there in Florida. He was having so much trouble finding a house. Finally got one ... i think it's with a pool? ... GREAT, now my whole family can stand around looking at the pool we will barely ever use.

school's been crazy. senior life is kicking in ... haha ... Josten's deliveries, senior spotlight bulletin board, turning in this ... turning in that ... and all this last minute scholarship BS, what the freaking hell?! ... today was a makeup day for the typhoons ... it felt weird having all our classes ... the later half seems so to go bye ever s o s l o w. seniors had last-minute planned a skip out at kev's but i had a partner quiz with chad (couldnt let a buddy down) and maher was threatening a quiz which, by the way, she cancelled ... whattafag ... and as it turned out, a total of what, 6? seniors actually skipped. hmmm ...

its thursday already. more than half of my spring break has passed and i still havent gotten to that homework. jenna, i know youre gonna be angry with me ... we were all supposed to meet up last night. i was working all day and didnt have time to call anyone. i still went. i havent been there in such a long time. it was nice. me and my mom stood around watching FUSHiON ... *ohh-ahhh* ... blahblahblah. hmmm ... i was thinking chris would have fun in that dance company. ok well, maybe not ... then i ate a fiesta plate! woohoo! then we looked around and on our way out, we laughed at some c-walkers and the transvestite freaking by him/her-self to My Neck, My Back. yuck.

my mother's ribs are the best in the world.

the guys came up from Navy to play basketball. first i went with my mom to run some errands on base while we dropped joy and cj off at the gym. then we went to get a graduation plaque made. man i forgot to put a volleyball seal on it. then she dropped me off at the gym and we stayed there watching the guys while she went off base to run more errands. karlo was a loser and got pulled over on base (twice!) for speeding. lucky ass didnt get a ticket. haha. then ryan stayed while the rest of the guys went to play video games at the youth center. i thought it was gay and 5 minutes after we dropped ryan off there, he called to tell me he was coming over. haha.

it was basically basketball all day. i dont usually watch women's basketball but the semis are good. i woke up to catch the end of the Tennesee/Duke game. then the UCONN/Texas game came on. i wanted UCONN to win ... even though i like picking the underdogs ... but yeah, Texas had that big girl ... anyways ... it was just a really good game k?

Shanghai Noon came on last night. i havent seen it in forever. i remember renting it for days at a time. the late fee charges ended up being more than what i coulda paid for if i had just bought the dvd. i have a tendency to do that.

i finally saw punk'd. (ryan's 4th time, joy's 2nd) it was funny. justin timberlake was about to cry. those are some pretty fucked up things to do to someone though. but fuck, theyre ruch. whatever.

the game last night was alright. we lost by a bajillion-kajillion but it was fun watching.

my mom chilled with the crew. it was funny coz there was this gay guy sitting across from us on the JFK side and he kept screaming whenever our team made a shot (trying to mess them us?) ... and my mom was getting irritated and she told mahcus to just wave at him so he would shut up. haha ... then shella "got hurt" and started to "cry" ... mr. mesa didnt take her out and alonzo said, i think she's hurt. and i think its her feelings. haha ... my mom was cracking up then she hit alonzo with a towel. haha ... jenna showed up! woohoo! that chick was on a high from her $1.00 slurpee. she only had to pay .50 admission coz she's jenna! =) the game was late so we all just split after.

it was really funny ... our crowd would go crazy when we made a shot ... even if we were down by what - 40? 60? - we still cheered ... =) good effort. hey, speaking of cheering, why weren't you there kayce? JP-girl was there - star of the show. she plays exactly like him ... the way they dribble, the way they jump, the way they always make their fucking 3-point shots. dude, she was even decked out Iverson-style just like he does it ... i swear everyone said she was manly looking - even my mom. she spotted JP himself in the crowd and was like, marj, there's casey's boyfriend! haha ... that was cool.

joy did good. crossed some people up. yep, thats my girl.

so schools out for break. my plans for the week? get my dress made ... hella stories (for the paper) to edit ... & milligan's research paper. other than that, we're gonna chill ... was supposed to leave but my mom's scared of SARS. Rem, hope your mini-vacation goes good! Have fun and be freaking-careful! luvyoo and missyoo! oh and baskwill is gonna be a crazy one and go to the Philippines. ok. first off, theres that whole SARS thing. but secondly, there's a goddamn war going on and of all places, he wants to be a fucking white person in the Philippines. i kept trying to talk him out of it ... telling him about the terrorists and crap. so he shortened his trip. and now he's really worried. but he said to say that nothing is going to happen. so, nothing is going to happen.

last i heard, karlo might turn in his resignation form. i feel bad coz he getting shit from people and as far as a know, he was the only one pushing the fundraising. i heard theres a big chance that prom isnt going to be at a hotel -- Top of the Mar, cafeteria -- oh hell no. and i have some highly credible sources. our council has been saying it from the start. the juniors need to get it together. maybe if they didnt exclude seniors from Prom commitee, things would be going waaay more smoothly.

got our cap & gowns this week. im guess just about all of us went home and tried it on. walked around the house in it a bit. and practiced wearing the cap ... just to see how you could make it look better. haha ... or was it just me? =)

i know. i know. its a crappa-lappa layout. it was a rushed thing. i was tired of the rsx one. ever since import night, everyone wants it. whatever. never again will i do transparent divs or frames. ever.
